Legal
Data Protection
How to exercise your data rights, and how we handle requests about the information we hold.
Last updated 23 July 2026
Draft pending legal review. This document sets out our intended position and is published for transparency while Aethelbridge Care is pre-launch. The final wording is being reviewed by counsel and will be in place before checkout opens.
Making a request
Use the contact form and choose “Privacy or data request”, or email us directly. Tell us what you would like — a copy of your information, a correction, deletion, or to stop marketing — and enough detail for us to find your records.
How we respond
We acknowledge requests promptly and respond within the statutory period. We may need to confirm your identity first, which protects you as much as us. There is no charge for a reasonable request.
Requests on behalf of someone else
If you are asking on behalf of another person — for example a parent you support — we will need evidence of your authority to act for them. This matters especially in a care context, where the whole point of the product is that access is not assumed.
Security measures
Information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is role-based and administrative access to production systems is restricted and logged. We will publish independent certifications on our Security & Privacy pages once obtained — and not before.
Breach handling
If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to people's rights and freedoms, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority within the required period and inform affected individuals where the law requires it.
Contact
