Frequently Asked Questions

How am I paid, and when?

Payment is secured before your visit or shift begins. Once you submit your timesheet and it is approved, settlement is released. You can see paid, pending and withdrawable amounts separately in your earnings dashboard.

Am I employed by Aethelbridge Care?

Your engagement terms are set out in full before you accept any work, and they will be confirmed during onboarding. We will always be clear about your status and what it means for you.

What if I need to cancel?

You can cancel through the app. The family or organisation is notified straight away and we begin looking for a replacement. Frequent late cancellations may affect the work you are offered, so please cancel as early as you can.

Do I have to travel far?

Only as far as you choose. You set your travel radius and preferred locations, and we will not show you work outside them.

What happens if one of my documents expires?

We remind you well before it lapses. If it does expire, work requiring that document is paused until you renew it. Everything else stays available.

What if something goes wrong on a visit?

You can raise a concern in the app, and it is routed to the right people immediately. For anything urgent, follow your normal emergency procedures first and record it afterwards.
