Security & privacy

How your information is protected, in plain terms.

We describe our security honestly: what we do, and what we have not yet obtained. We do not display certifications we do not hold.

Encryption

Information is encrypted in transit using TLS, and encrypted at rest in our data stores. Documents in the Health Vault and Legacy Vault are stored encrypted and are accessible only to accounts with an explicit permission.

Access control

Access is role-based. Family members, professional carers and agency coordinators each see what their role and their granted permissions allow. Access decisions are attributable, and administrative access to production systems is restricted and logged.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the contact form and choose “Privacy or data request”, and we will respond within the statutory period.

  • Access — a copy of the personal information we hold.
  • Rectification — correction of anything inaccurate.
  • Erasure — deletion, subject to any legal retention obligations.
  • Portability — an export of your Health Vault and Legacy Vault content.
  • Objection — to processing you have not consented to.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information. We do not use care data for advertising. We do not share information with a family member that the supported user has not agreed to share.

Certifications

Aethelbridge Care is pre-launch. We follow recognised security practice in how the platform is built, and we will publish independent certifications on this page once they have been obtained and verified — not before.

Aethelbridge Care helps families support loved ones with confidence, connection and care visibility.

Aethelbridge Care supports care coordination, communication and safety awareness. It does not replace professional medical advice, emergency services or clinical judgement.
